Something’s Rotten In Robsten-gate!

Since our PrettySparklies has been out of commission, and I pretty much suck at writing on a consistent basis, we’ve pretty much been MIA. Not that there’s been all that much going on in the Twiverse, but then today….Whammo! I’ve been a Robsten fan from the get-go even though I make no bones about being more a fan of Tay-Tay. But today’s news has had me saying WTF all day.

I’m sure by now you’ve heard about Kstew’s public begging apology. When I read the first report this morning that there were pics, I blew it off as yet another example of the bored media stirring shit up. I’m a touchy-feely kind of gal and I’ve had psycho jealous girlfriends threaten to kick my ass for supposedly flirting with their guy (I wasn’t). So it wasn’t much of a stretch for me to believe that an innocent embrace between friends got misconstrued. Then the apologies came out. Well hell. Guess that pretty much confirms the wild speculation. And I gotta say, I’m still not convinced that this isn’t some weird Rob-and-Kristen media-attention-getting thing.

Supposing, though, that it’s true that Kristen had a real fling with Sanders *shudder*, WTF were you thinking girl? First…um….EWWW! Not only is he old enough to be your dad, but he’s not even all that to look at. Second, he’s married….with kids! I have real issues with cheating. You don’t meet up with some other guy and get caught necking in a car if you believe that your boyfriend is still, “the most important thing in [your] life, the person [you] love and respect the most….” You just don’t. Third, if you’re going to be stupid enough to have a romantic rendezvous with someone (particularly someone who isn’t the other half of your very public relationship), don’t be dumb enough to do it in public…then get photographed doing it. Moron. Seriously?! You grew up in Hollywood. What the fuck were you thinking? SERIOUSLY?!!!! And lastly, for someone who has touted for years that she’s an extremely private person, someone who we all know secretly dated her costar yet was incredibly careful with regards to PDA…how could this have happened?

It’s this last point that makes me think it might be staged. You don’t spend years hiding from the spotlight then make a stupid mistake where you could get caught. Unless there were already problems in Robsten land and maybe you were feeling like you weren’t the center of Rob’s universe. Maybe this was all just a young, inexperienced woman’s attempt to make her guy jealous. To make him remember that while he might be busy with promoting his new films, he still has to make time for her. I’m NOT defending Kristen but I’ve known too many stupid girls who do this kind of thing thinking it will bring their guy’s attention back around to them. We call it DBS (Dumb Bitch Syndrome). Kristen….you has it.

Now let’s hope you’ve learned your lesson and that Rob isn’t the insanely jealous kind but forgives you for your idiocy.

Yeah, at face value, it’s obvious that Kristen cheated and I accept that and I really feel sorry for Rob, but other part of me screams BULLSHIT! Because something in this smells so fishy I could throw up. For such a private person, here Kristen is making out in the open where papz can take pics, but it takes papz YEARS for papz to get a grainy dark picture of her and her boyfriend?! AND THEN there’s something about here statement, don’t those things usually come out saying “her rep says…” I just really smell something rotten in Denmark and if it isn’t Kristen is just plain dumb and Rupert needs his balls chopped off for cheating on his beautiful family.

DBS…I like that. I think we are all stumped as to why but it’s really none of our business. It will drive me crazy trying to figure any of this out so I will just remain a crazy ass twilight fan regardless of the actors private lives. But I do wish Rob’s broken heart will heal…quick!!

  I agree whole-heartedly! I’m really worried about the red carpet and tent city atmosphere this fall though….and it will be my first and last one. *cries* If there are boos on the red carpet it will just break my heart.

IDK if this is for his attention… or maybe too much of ours? I don’t fucking know. But I agree that the pieces just don’t fit. Something is missing in this puzzle. TOO many people saying ‘somethings fishy’ for us to disregard it. We can’t all be soooo wrong, can we?? I don’t know. I don’t know anything anymore. I am in a state of permanent confusion.
